My office maintains a year-round internship program in my Washington office. While first consideration is given to students from the Fourth District of Michigan, any interested students are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated, excellent writing skills, able to accomplish a variety of tasks, basic computer and office skills, knowledge of American government.
Job Description:
Interns assist the staff in variety of ways, including: computer data entry, preparing correspondence for the legislative staff, answering constituent inquiries, conducting research, and helping with day-to-day office operations.
